The CPI Group is currently engaged in a variety of projects, the following is a selective summary of what we're working on right now.

Aurora, Colorado

Equipment Planning, Procurement

In 2009, Children's Hospital Colorado embarked on the addition of a new wing on the east side of its facility. This new 10-story tower expands existing services as well as providing space for an entirely new Maternal Fetal Medicine department. The additonal space afforded by this expansion will allow some currently constricted services to relocate and expand, leading to significant internal remodeling projects as well.

The CPI Group has been tasked with Inventory, Equipment Planning, and Procurement for all the medical equipment involved in the new facilities as well as all the remodeled areas. The first phase of this effort involves nearly all services provided by Children's Hospital Colorado including the Lab, Heart Institute, PICU, NICU, CICU, CPCU, Cancer Center, In-Patient Rehab and Med/Surg areas. The future second phase will involve the Procedure Center, Clinics and several additional Med/Surg floors.

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Program Management, Strategic Facilities Planning, Coceptual Cost Estimating, Design Services, Equipment Planning

Project Mangement, Design, Construction Management, General Contracting

Program management including design and general contracting for installation of a new incoming main electrical feed for Buildings B and C on the campus. Effort included significant exterior trenching on Agilent’s campus for City feed, new transformers, new secondary feeds into multiple locations of the campus, underground directional boring, new main switchgear interior to buildings, and re-connections of new gear to existing panels and load centers.

Boulder, Colorado

Strategic Facilities Planning, Conceptual Cost Estimating, Program Management

Expansion of support operations for existing pharmaceutical manufacturing process. Work began with strategic space and real estate planning which justified the scope, budget, and schedule to Agilent management. Ongoing program management, design and construction efforts over three years providing phased occupancy of new cGMP labs, office areas, new interior mezzanine, conference rooms, and various storage areas for stability chambers and other associated support spaces.
