Reid Hospital & Health Care Services oversaw the construction of a total medical center replacement program consisting of the hospital, a JV ambulatory surgery center and a medical office building. The three year construction schedule concluded with the first hospital patient being seen on September 10, 2008.
CPI Group led the medical equipment contract negotiation, analysis, procurement, receiving and installation coordination for the $46.8 M medical equipment budget. In addition to medical equipment, we incorporated the food service equipment, laundry, IT and furniture into our online data management program InteMationTM for project budget tracking and change management.
Our automated requisition process was mapped to upload directly into Reid’s Lawson procurement and accounting software system to minimize staff time and data errors and to maximize the efficiency of the requisition process.
