Feasibility Study, Hazardous Chemical Storage Analysis, Construction Management

Hewlett-Packard’s Integrated Circuits Business Division needed to expand its operations to meet chip fabrication demand. Their existing facility was constructed in 1978 and would have required significant updating to meet current building code standards for H-6 (hazardous) occupancy. In order to meet the desired manufacturing capacity increase, the cleanroom needed to be expanded beyond the square footage allowed by code. The CPI Group proposed a unique solution allowing the City of Fort Collins to grant HP a waiver and the project proceeded with CPI serving as the Construction Manager.

  • 14,000 sf of class-100/1000 H-6 clean room
  • 9,000 sf mechanical support building
  • $15 million project
