The CPI Group, like every business right now, is adjusting our work practices to balance the following variables:

  • Keeping our employees safe

  • Meeting the needs of our customers

  • Complying with the various Federal, State, and Local Orders intended to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus – COVID-19

Since CPI is a Program Management firm overseeing construction-related projects which are considered “Critical Businesses” and may remain open under the orders of the State of Colorado and the various counties where our Front Range projects are located, we are adopting the approach that if and until our clients choose to pause or stop certain projects, CPI will continue to operate; albeit with certain operational modifications. This also goes for our out-of-state projects – we will follow the lead and direction of our clients and the governmental authorities in those areas where the projects reside.

With regard to operational changes, CPI has shifted most of our project, office, executive, and support staff to primarily telecommuter arrangements. Those few members of our staff who must be onsite to work with office or construction project staff are rigidly adhering to social distancing protocols, minimizing in-person meetings, and following the site-wide guidelines issued by each of our clients. We are also staggering on-site presence at our main office in Greenwood Village such that only one person from the company will be on-site on any given day.

By following these guidelines, we believe CPI can continue to make a positive contribution to our clients’ business while simultaneously doing our part to help the Country get through the current crisis.
