CPI functioned as the program manager of build-out and remodel for the NASD (Nucleic Acids Solutions Division) of Agilent Technologies. Overseeing the entire process from start to finish, CPI participated in the design, costing, value engineering, process and system engineering, construction management, equipment procurement, outfitting, and final delivery. Providing a high quality finished product to Agilent ahead of schedule.
CPI initially performed a facility assessment and developed a Strategic Space and Real Estate Report for Agilent Technologies; one component of the report defined the need for additional lab, office and support space driven by an expected ramp in production at the facility. NASD retained CPI as the program manager for the overall project. The expansion space was targeted for the remaining third of adjacent space in the building that was previously leased by another tenant. The overall construction effort was designed to be phased over a three year period, which fully addressed and fulfilled the overall NASD requirements once completed in 2014.
The build-out included:
