A Bit About Me
Eric Wilson is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The CPI Group, a Denver-based company that provides comprehensive program and project management services for healthcare and high-tech facilities facing complex renovation or new build projects.
As the head of The CPI Group, Eric leads the strategic visioning and direction for the company, oversees annual business planning and coordination of the executive leadership team, and also serves as Chief Information Officer. He offers leadership and mentoring for project and program managers. In addition, Eric provides executive oversight of active projects and client relations.
Eric is a multifaceted engineer and manager experienced in many aspects of design, construction and project management with an emphasis on technology solutions for healthcare and high-tech manufacturing facilities. His expertise includes process engineering, efficiency studies, cost analysis, business analysis, conceptual design, initial cost estimates and program management. His unique background allows him to find creative solutions to complex challenges in demanding environments and he has been a tremendous asset to our clients throughout his years with The CPI Group.
Prior to joining The CPI Group in 1998, he served in various roles at Texas Instruments, Inc., including project manager, chemical dock manager, and process engineer. He attended Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Technology Management. Eric is back at Colorado School of Mines enrolled in the Space Resources graduate program as a PhD candidate.
Eric is a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and currently lives in south Denver with his wife Michelle and their two daughters.
